JUDGES:
Gayel Childress, Ojai (Jury-In)
Award-winning artist Gayel Childress works in watercolors as well as oils and monoprints. She is best known for her fluid interpretations of landscapes and figures that capture the essence of the moment. Childress, who has studied with William Wright, Jan Kuntz, Robert E. Wood and Don Andrews, has shown her work in many one-artist shows and art exhibitions. Her paintings can be found in numerous private and corporate collections throughout the United States and Europe.

Hiroko Yoshimoto, Ventura (Awards)
BA and MA (summa cum laude) in Art from UCLA.
Post-graduate courses: Mills College; Santa Raparata Studio, Florence, Italy; Art Center College of Design, Pasadena; University of California, Santa Barbara; California State University, Northridge. As an art professor at Ventura College, Hiroko Yoshimoto has left her mark on generations of students.

ENTRY FEE (Entry fees are non-refundable and must be paid by the entry deadline):
•    First piece (TOAA Members)   $30
•    First piece (Non-members)    $40
•    Each additional piece        $10
•    Each Artist may enter up to 4 pieces for consideration by the Juror.  A maximum of 3 pieces per artist can be juried into the show.

SHOW ENTRY AND DIGITAL IMAGES:
•    All entries for this show are digital,  Enter online at:  www.OnlineJuriedShows.com no later than Sunday, January 8, 2017.
•    Entering Your Images:  Entry form must be filled out in its entirety.  List sizes up to the nearest inch.  Submitted images must not include matting or frame.  Crop the photos to include only the artwork.  Be sure your images are right-side-up.
•    Before uploading your images, make sure they are smaller than 4MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi.  Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space.  Help in photographing your work and properly sizing your images can be found at:  www.OnlineJuriedShows.com/help.aspx.  If you need help entering your images or are unable to, please email Help@OnlineJuriedShows.com or call 949-287-8645.
•   Please add Services@OnlineJuriedShows.com and Manager@OnlineJuriedShows.com to your safe senders list to ensure notifications are received.

ELIGIBILITY AND CONDITIONS:
•    Open to all artists 18 years of age and older residing in Ventura, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, and Orange Counties.
•    Work must be original, completed after 1/1/2014, and never previously exhibited with TOAA.
•    No supervised or copied work.  No posters.
•    All work must be dry, clean, undamaged, and properly framed or presented.
•    Artwork must be ready to hang.
•    Framed work must have wire hangers (no saw-tooth), ideally taut and mounted 4-6” or 1/3 the height from the top of the frame.
•    Framed work cannot exceed 6’ x 6’ x 3”.
•    3D work must fit through a 36” wide door.
•    Assemblage art and other large works must be set up by the artist with the Hanging Committee.
•    All work must remain on exhibit until the end of the show.  Unapproved early removal will result in denial of entries by the artist in the following two TOAA shows.
•    TOAA members are required to sit the show.

SALES:
•    Exhibited work will be considered for sale unless indicated by “NFS” on Entry Form.  Sales prices may not be changed.
•    A commission of 30% is charged on all sales.  Ventura County sales tax will be collected.

TAKE-IN and PICK-UP:
•     Take-in of accepted work is from 5-7 pm. only.  No late entries will be accepted.  All work will be screened for proper presentation and compliance to the rules. Any protective wrapping must be removed by the artist upon delivery to the Gallery at Take-in.
•    Pick-up is from 5-7 p.m. only.  Early removal is not permitted without prior approval.  Storage fee for unclaimed work is $10/day.

LIABILITY:
Insurance is the artist’s responsibility.  The TOAA and City of Thousand Oaks cannot accept responsibility for loss, damage or theft.
