In "The Language of Paint", a painting becomes the artist’s voice. Through stroke, scrape, and accumulation, each constructs a visual vocabulary — at times lyrical, at times forceful, and always deeply personal. This exhibition invites viewers to read paint as a language: to hear color, to feel rhythm in mark-making, and to witness the many dialects through which women painters articulate presence, memory, and interpretation of life.
The director, Tracy Park will be the juror and will select 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners and three Honorable Mentions.
1st prize: $500
2nd prize: $300
3rd prize: $200
