Exhibition Dates: July 24 - August 29, 2026
Opening Reception: Friday July 24, 2026 6-8 PM
CALL FOR OPAS MEMBER ARTISTS:
This juried exhibition will celebrate the plein air tradition by exhibiting paintings that draw attention to the beauty of the everyday—the scenes that surround us in our daily lives. Our theme is painting Ohio’s urban scenes–highlighting Ohio’s cities, towns, metropolitan areas. By displaying paintings of various city scenes painted on location throughout Ohio, this show will celebrate the particular character and beauty of our state’s metropolitan areas--from the gritty to the polished, the historic to the contemporary--as observed by OPAS artists. Our juror will select the finest plein air works submitted from members of the Ohio Plein Air Society.
