Although the upcoming Gold Medal Exhibition will continue the long tradition of being unthemed, since the 115th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition coincides with the 250th anniversary of the United States, the juried works will exclusively spotlight artwork inspired by the people, landscapes and stories within our nation’s borders.
Artists may submit up to two “standard-size” works and one miniature for consideration, keeping in mind the California Art Club’s mission, which is to promote the best examples of today’s traditional fine art while showcasing what makes your work unique.
Artwork submitted cannot have won any previous awards, nor can it have been displayed in another exhibition, CAC or otherwise. If it is discovered that accepted artwork does not adhere to the above criteria, the artwork will be forfeited from display in the exhibition.
