SUBJECT
|
American Tapestry presents a series of vignettes that reflect the richness of life in America, both individual and collective. Each work becomes a glimpse into moments that define who we are—snapshots of daily life, cultural traditions, and personal journeys. Together, they create a portrait of a nation in motion.
While marking the nation’s 250 anniversary, the exhibition suggests that America itself is never finished. New experiences, choices, and perspectives continually add fresh strands, interweaving with those that came before. The result is an ever-evolving tapestry, where past and present converge to shape the possibilities of tomorrow.
The mission of this competition is to encourage artists to develop and refine their classical art skills and spotlight their mastery by providing a new platform for showcasing contemporary-traditional works of art.
We ask artists to represent American Tapestry via contemporary-traditional methods. Any genre of work will be eligible for consideration. Artwork submitted should be created in the last three years.
Note: NFS works are now eligible for consideration. Review updated competition guidelines here.
