QUALIFICATIONS

Open to current and active juried Artists, Out-of-State Artists, Mentorship Program Artists, and Signature Artists of the California Art Club.

Please note: Associate Artists and non-members of the CAC are not eligible for consideration.

SUBJECT

Sunset at the Pacific’s Edge will feature miniature plein air paintings, no larger than 108 inches total, that focus on dramatic sunsets and coastal beauty along the Pacific.

EXAMPLES

· Popular California beach/coast towns like Carmel-by-the-Sea, Laguna Beach, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Coronado, Malibu, Pismo Beach, etc.

· Pacific Coast Highway views

· Golden Gate Bridge, Bixby Bridge, etc.

· Seaside sunsets

· Piers, marinas and boardwalks

GUEST JUDGE

The guest judge for this exhibition is TBD, and will be announced at a later date.

MEDIUM AND DIMENSIONS

Oil, watercolor, pastel, gouache, or acrylic.

Unframed dimensions cannot exceed 108 inches total.

COMMISSION

60% Artist; 20% Old Mill; 20% CAC

All artwork MUST be for sale.

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

Upload artwork through Online Juried Shows to submit artwork Sunset at the Pacific’s Edge.

There is no entry limit to this submission. The entry fee is $30 for 1, with $8 per additional entry.

Images must be jpg and under 4 mb. For best results, images should be at least 1920 pixels on the longest side @ 72 dpi. For help with your entries, contact onlinejuriedshows@gmail.com or 888-666-1351.

NOTIFICATIONS

Artists will be notified via email on or around Monday, August 3, 2026. Results will be in your OnlineJuriedShows artist profile.

ARTWORK DROP-OFF

Monday, October 5, 2026; 10:00 am to 12 noon

*If artists cannot drop-off accepted artwork in person during the designated date and time artwork must be shipped. Artwork that does not arrive on the day of drop-off will forfeit acceptance.

**Accommodations can be made for early drop-off.

OUT-OF-TOWN SHIPPING

Must arrive to Box and Ship between Friday, September 4 and Friday, October 2, 2026

Artists will be responsible for the cost of crating, handling, and shipping artwork to and from the exhibition via Box & Ship in Pasadena, CA.
