California Art Club Associate Artist Critique Forum 2025

Dear Associate Artist,

We are pleased to announce that the Artist Membership Review Committee will conduct an online anonymous critique of Associate Artist Member artwork in the California Art Club on October 2, 2025 at 11:00 - 1:30pm. All current and active Associate Artist members of the Club are eligible to apply at this time.

In anticipation of our highly competitive Annual Artist Jury Process, a panel of Signature Artists will review the first 25 submissions in an online zoom critique. The purpose of this forum is to provide constructive feedback and insight into the elements of creating a strong body of work with a standard of professionalism. Each artist will receive a brief review of one of two submitted pieces of artwork.

Prospectus

Current, active Associate Artist members of the California Art Club are eligible to apply for the Associate Artist Critique Forum at this time.

SUBMISSION

Please submit two high quality images (.jpg please) of recent works of art.  Sculptors are encouraged to submit multiple views of two works (one main and up to two alternate views). Images should be under 4 mb and in sRGB colorspace. For best results, images should be at least 1920 pixels on the longest side @ 72 dpi. Panelists will select ONE piece of artwork per artist to review.

All artwork discussed will be done so anonymously.

Entries are limited to the first 25 submissions and application link will close when capacity is filled. 

DEADLINE

Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. PST

APPLICATION FEE

There is an entry fee of $45, which covers all works and includes the zoom link to watch the online critique, payable through OnlineJuriedShows.

• If you are not current on CAC membership dues, your application will not be considered. If you are uncertain of your membership status, please contact Membership at the California Art Club at 626.583.9009 or email: membership@californiaartclub.org

• If you are not a current member of the California Art Club and would like to join or renew as an Associate Artist member, please click here.

Once the maximum limit of 25 submissions has been reached, any excess Associate Artists will have their entry fees refunded. Acceptance is not guaranteed until membership status has been verified.
