Call for Entries - Scape Members Show

Exhibition Title:           Nature’s Palette

Exhibition Dates:           *   September Friday 12 and Saturday 13, 2025 

Notification:                  *   September 4  2025 from e- mail address you submitted to OnlineJuriedShows.com

                                           Artists entry and acceptance in to this show give SCAPE permission to use your name and   images of your entered art for show publicity.

 Location:                      *  Music Academy - 1070 Fairway Rd. - Santa Barbara California - 93108

Qualifications                 *   Open to all current members of SCAPE  To join SCAPE, go to scape.wildapricot.org

                                            Paintings must be for sale no nfs .

                                     *   All works must be original

                                      *   All styles and genres of painting that pertain to the theme Nature’s Palette.

                                     *   A 2 hr volunteer shift for from members in the show, sign up at take in .

 Subject:                       *   Allowed in this Show, all styles of paintings that  may include people, animals, flora, fauna and architecture,  sea scapes, land scapes and still life.

                                          If work is outside the parameters of basic morality it will not be accepted.

                                            Your SCAPE Board Committee will decide this.

 Medium:                        *   Paintings in Oil, Acrylic, Pastel, Watercolor and  Mixed Media are accepted.

                                     *   Digital work, photography, and sculpture are not accepted.

Dimensions:                   *   No larger than 78  inches on the longest size with the frame.

Beneficiary:                    *   Explore Ecology Santa Barbara

Commission:                   *   50 % to artist, 30% to Beneficiary and 20% Scape

Entry Fee:                       *   Entry fee paid at time of submission through OnlineJuriedShows

                                         $35. for first entry and $15 each additional for up to 5 entries total       

                                      *   Submission fees are non-refundable.

Sales                               *   Sales  -  Local Tax will be collected at time of sale.     

Awards                            *    Beneficiary Ribbon and gift

                                             Jurors Choice   Ribbon and $100

                                             1st  Ribbon and $200, 2nd Ribbon and $100, 3rd Ribbon and $75

                                              3 honorable mentions  scape gift.              

Publicity:                         *   Multiple venues for advertising this show will be

                                          Provided by Scape and by Explore Ecology in local media and social media

                                          And by You on your social media sites

                                          Take in Friday September 12, 2025  9-11 Show opening at 2 PM

                                          Reception Friday 12  at 5 -6 Pm

                                          Show opening Saturday September 13 2025 at 10:30

                                          Show closing on Saturday at 4:30 PM

                                          Take down and pick up of unsold art work from 4:30 - 5:30 PM

                                           Any unclaimed art after 5:30 will be considered abandoned and will join my art collection.
