Collage Artists of America
COLLAGE ARTISTS OF AMERICA - Exhibition for CAA Members Between 21 and 35 Years of Age

COLLAGE ARTISTS OF AMERICA

Exhibition for CAA Members Between 21 and 35 Years of Age

(A virtual on-line juried show for members and newly joining members.)

January 10 – March 10, 2026

Collage Artists of America, founded in 1988, is dedicated to promoting collage and providing workshops, scholarships, and art exhibits to its members and the public. As a way of promoting the study of collage and attracting younger members, CAA has inaugurated a new juried online exhibition for members between 21 and 35 years of age. Interested applicants should join CAA before entering the exhibition.

CAA defines collage as original works in two or three dimensions that comprise joining, juxtaposing, and layering in novel ways. By using a variety of material and media sources, including found objects, textiles, paint, wax, newspaper, photographs, and digital compositions  among others, collage can create both seamless compositions as well as generate new relationships among individual images.

JURORS AND AWARDS:

Entries will be juried anonymously by the CAA Board of Directors. Monetary awards and certificates will be awarded to First ($500), Second ($350), and Third Place ($250) finalists; a certificate and $100 will be awarded to each of four Honorable Mentions. Successful artists will be notified by e-mail within a month, and an online exhibition will be scheduled January 10-March 10, 2026. Winning works and artists’ profiles will be highlighted in the CAA newsletter and website.
