ABOUT THE SHOW
|
LELA International proudly announces its Expressions of Peace exhibition, held simultaneously at Makery Gallery in Los Angeles (for the third year) and in Nagasaki, Japan (for the 46th year) throughout August 2025.
This exhibition fosters dialogue and a shared commitment to peace across all nations and communities while also remembering the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing in Japan.
This year’s theme, Expressions of Peace, invites artists to share their vision and creative interpretation of peace through art.
We warmly welcome artists of all ages to participate and express their ideas in any artistic form that reflects their vision of peace.
Please review the submission guidelines carefully, and feel free to reach out with any questions. We look forward to your participation in this meaningful exhibition.

MEDIUM
|
All media will be considered except video. Maximum size for artwork is 36 inches in all dimensions. Please note that all work must be hand delivered to the Gallery on, Friday August 1st between the hours of 10 am and 11 am. We have no facilities for accepting shipped work, nor can we return work that is not picked up. We welcome artists from outside the SoCal area, as long as pickup and return have been prearranged.

COMMISSION
|
In the event of an art sale, the artist receives 70%, while LELA International retains 30%.
Not for sale pieces are allowed.

IMAGE SPECIFICATIONS
|
Image files must be jpg, under 4 mb, and in sRGB colorspace. Entries should be at least 1920 pixels on the longest side (minimum 800) @ 72 dpi. To convert your image to 1920 pixels @ 72 dpi, follow this link:https://www.onlinejuriedshows.com/1920FileUpload.aspx Save the new image to your computer and choose the new file when completing your entry form.
