PROSPECTUS for Signature Membership Submission
Opens for Submissions February 2025; Deadline June 9, 2025
TITLE: 2025 Call for LPAPA Signature Members
LPAPA Signature Members are professional artists established in their careers, and recognized for their ability and experience in the technique of painting on location. Signature Members are recognized members in the art community for their superior work.
Signature Members receive all Artist Membership benefits plus Signature Members are eligible for:
• Invitation to submit work for annual call for artwork for the Signature Showcase at the LPAPA Gallery
• Invitation to be featured Signature Member at the gallery with website and e-news recognition
• Expanded Signature Member profile on LPAPA website and administrative assistance with Directory listing
• Participate and receive compensation as Instructors in LPAPA education programs, including LPAPA Workshops, Mentor Sessions, Mentor Paint-Outs, Plein Talks, Painting Demonstration, Video or live-streamed lessons and studio tours
QUALIFICATIONS: Open to all professional artists who are proficient in completing a work of art onsite in plein air
SUBJECT MATTER: Online artwork submission is open to all subject matters providing the best representation of the artist’s skills as a plein air artist
DEADLINE: Submit no later than 11:59 pm on Monday, June 9, 2025.
ART ELIGIBILITY: Submissions must not violate copyright laws
• Submit eight (8) images of plein air work and two (2) images of studio work; must identify each submission as plein air or studio (work does not need to be for sale)
• Submit bio and/or curriculum vitae (upload to your OnlineJuriedShows artist profile or email to info@lpapa.org); please include plein air events you have participated in, awards received for plein air work, and/or published recognition for your work, etc.
HOW TO APPLY: Submit jpeg painting images for jury review via OnlineJuriedShows. Images must be under 4 mb and in sRGB colorspace. For best results, images should be at least 1920 pixels on the longest side @ 72 dpi.
Log in and click Enter This Show to begin your submissions. To add your bio/curriculum vitae to your OnlineJuriedShows artist profile, click on “Your Artist Profile,” and “Bio/Statement/Password.” Title your document with your first and last name, and upload to the Bio Section.

ENTRY FEE: Non-refundable entry fee: Current LPAPA Members $45.00; Non-Members $75.00, paid through OnlineJuriedShows.
Accepted current Members will have membership updated to Signature Membership level with renewal on their next anniversary date. Accepted Non-Members will be added as Signature Member with renewal on January 1, 2026.
NOTIFICATIONS: Notifications will be sent to artists via email on/around Monday, June 23, 2025, after jurying is completed.
