SELECTION & AWARDS JUROR: Betsy Krebs

Betsy Krebs is the owner of Birds of a Feather Studio & Gallery in Chestertown, NY. She is an award-winning painter who has been an art teacher in Queensbury, the Hyde Collection, and the Gibson Gallery at SUNY Potsdam. She actively shows her work widely in New York and beyond.

Krebs writes, “As I paint I take an unknown “gnostic” path that becomes my voice, a language unknown to me until I come to the journey’s end. I tell stories, I replay the past through the eyes of curiosity. The past is only moments away as I form my images. My “visual” voice becomes a world of color, depth, light, symbolism when aligned that can transform the heart through the eyes”.
