Plein Air Painters Chicago Year End Exhibit and Sale
Exhibit and Sale 10 Days in December. Opening reception, December 6th, 6pm-9pm at the Palette and Chisel Academy of Fine Art, 1012 N. Dearborn, Chicago.
Description: The PAPC Annual Exhibit is the year end event and offers members an opportunity to exhibit the paintings they have done throughout the season. The opening reception invites patrons to purchase paintings and meet the artists and offers members a chance to socialize with their peers.

· Submission Deadline: November 25th via OnlineJuriedShows (log in on this page and click Enter This Show to begin your submissions).
· Submissions open November 10th.
· Image files must be jpg and under 4 mb. For best results, images should be at least 1920 pixels on the longest side @ 72 dpi. For help with your submissions, contact onlinejuriedshows@gmail.com or 888-666-1351
· Exhibit is open to PAPC paid members only.
· Plan on submitting up to 3 plein air paintings. At least TWO must be painted at a PAPC paint out location. All paintings must be current, painted this year and plein air. If you only painted once with PAPC, you may submit that painting and one other plein air painting.
· No entry fees
· Size limits: total square inches of the 3 paintings, not including frame, cannot exceed 400 square inches.
· Wired frames only; NO sawtooth hangers. Hanging committee WILL NOT fix frames. Frames that are not stable will not be hung. Stretched canvas paintings must be framed.
· NO white frames
· Label the back of every painting with your name, title, price, contact info, especially text number in case there is a problem during hanging.
· Drop off dates: December 1-4. NO Exceptions! All qualified work is accepted.
· Pricing: Artists decide on their pricing but the exhibit minimum price for framed work is $250, unless your work is under 8”x6.” The Palette will take 20% of all sales.
· Participation: ALL participating artists are required to volunteer to gallery sit or help with the opening reception. A volunteer sheet will be posted via our Facebook page on November 25th. If you do not volunteer or show up for your slot, your paintings will not be hung or you will not be able to participate the following year. If we do not have gallery sitters, we cannot open the galleries and sell our work. If you have a problem with the volunteer time slots, contact Laurie Kennard at laurie.kennard@sbcgclobal.net and she will find something for you.
· Purchases will be in person or via the Palette’s QR code on the Palette’s Shopify site.
· Paintings cannot be removed until December 15th.
