EXHIBIT THEME:

WaterWorks Art Museum welcomes submissions to this year’s Annual Juried Exhibition, “Something Nostalgic.”

Blending high and low influences, nostalgic art is often a humorous look back on much-loved memorabilia of the past. From teddy bears to imaginary friends (people or animals) to fun collectables, we are asking artists to turn to their childhood memories and collective nostalgic memories for inspiration. Let your painting become a channel through which nostalgic experiences are transformed into unpredictable new ideas and effects.

The Fee is $35 for up to two entries and $10 for a third entry. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be paid by the entry deadline. If you have an accepted piece that you choose not to show, you will not be eligible for submitting to WAM juried shows for three years. No substitutions may be made once work is juried into the show. The work presented should be considered for general viewing audiences of all ages.
