2025 Lahaina Poster Online Contest and Exhibit
INTRODUCTION
The 37th Annual Lahaina Poster Contest and Exhibit is coordinated by Lahaina Restoration Foundation, Village Gallery, and Lahaina Arts Society. The poster prints will be sold on Maui and online with net proceeds used to restore Lahaina Restoration Foundation’s 8 historic sites that were lost in the August 2023 wildfires. Due to the Lahaina wildfire and the loss of venues, we are hosting the Lahaina Poster contest at onlinejuriedshows.com. Artwork by the first-place winner will be the image for the Official 2025 Lahaina Poster and cash rewards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
ELIGIBILITY
1. Entries must be two-dimensional, original, one-of-a-kind works of art, made independently and not under the supervision of an instructor
2. All mediums are acceptable except for giclee and off set prints.
3. Entry must not exceed 24” x 30”. Finished poster will be 16” x 20” therefore entry must be proportional to these dimensions.
4. Entry can be vertical or horizontal.
5. Artist may choose to list their work for sale or mark NFS. All sales will take place between the artist and the buyer. Artists will be provided with the contact information of any interested buyer by onlinejuriedshows.com, No commission will be taken by Lahaina Restoration Foundation. Artists receive 100% of selling price.
6. AI generated images are not eligible.
7. Open to all artists. No geographic restrictions.
8. Winning artist must arrange to be on Maui the third week in November to sign and number every poster, plus optional event in late October
9. Winning artist is responsible for providing a high-resolution image suitable for creating the poster.
ENTRY PROCEDURES

ENTRY FEE
There is a non-refundable entry fee of $25 for each entry. Complete your payment on OnlineJuriedShows using credit card or paypal. Payment must be received by the entry deadline.
NOTIFICATION AND ONLINE EXHIBIT
The Lahaina Poster Contest Exhibit will be juried.
Artists will be notified on/around October 21 if work is or is not accepted into the show; if artwork is chosen as the 2025 poster or if artwork received a cash award.
The 2025 Lahaina Poster Contest Exhibit will be viewable in the Published Shows section of OnlineJuriedShows.com
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION
All entries must be received by OnlineJuriedShows.com by Midnight on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 (PST).
CASH AWARDS – Compliments of LRF, Village Gallery, and Lahaina Arts Society
· Official Lahaina Poster 2025, Contest winner, award $2000, 1000 prints of art on poster.
· Village gallery award - $500
· Lahaina Arts society award - $ 250
SALES
Interested persons looking to purchase your work will contact you directly. All sales will take place between the artist and the buyer. Lahaina Restoration Foundation, Village Gallery and Lahaina Arts Society shall have no liability or responsibility for sales generated in this manner and will not collect and submit sales tax. The Lahaina Poster Contest generously declines to collect any commission on online sales handled by the artist. The artist is responsible for finalizing the sale, receiving payment, packing, insuring, and shipping the artwork to the customer. 100% of sales will be collected and retained by the artist.
