Submission Guidelines

8th Annual Members’ Art Show

Show Dates: November 18 – December 10, 2023

Deadline for Entries: Thursday, October 26, 2023


This annual show is a thank-you to all of our members. It is a privilege for us to showcase your art in the Academy’s gallery. This is not a juried show and there is no submission fee.

These are the guidelines...


Entries & Specifications:

·       ONE piece may be submitted in any media (except audio/visual). Work should not exceed a total more than 30” in height or width, including mat and frame, if framed in traditional manner. If non-traditional, 30” total in both directions still applies. 

·       Preferably this will be new work done within the last 3 years.

·       Freestanding or 3-dimensional work must be able to be exhibited on pedestals in the following sizes: 16” x 16”, 23” x 23”, 16” x 36”, or directly on the floor.

·       Work must not have been previously exhibited at the Academy.

We are using the platform for submissions in this year's Members’ Show.  As mentioned above, this is not a juried show, there is no submission fee, all submissions by current Academy members will be accepted. When you reach the end of the entry process, click to print a copy of your receipt for your records. If you do not see your images on your receipt they were not uploaded correctly. Please contact or (888) 666-1351


Image files must be jpg and under 4 mb. For best results, image files should be 1920 pixels on the longest side (min 800) @ 72 dpi. Please note: if you do not see your images on the screen after completing your upload, during your review, and on your receipt, the upload was not successful. Please contact Randi Sugarman at or (888) 666-1351 if you do not see your images on the screen and they do not appear on your receipt or if you have any difficulty navigating the system.

  • Once we have received your submission, you will be emailed a contract to sign and return.
  • Please provide a short bio and/or artist statement to be included in the Gallery Book, by email, to no later than October 26th.



Display Information:

·       Appropriate secure hardware must be attached to all hanging artwork for installation. Use only professional picture hanging wire affixed with screw eyes; no tape, no claw hangers, no fishing line, no string.  Gallery staff cannot do this for you.

·       If framing or mounting hardware are not acceptable, we will contact you to make the adjustments.        


Pricing & Commission:

Although there are no price restrictions, experience has shown that work priced at $500 or less has the greatest chance of selling. The Academy retains a 35% commission. If you wish to submit work that is Not for Sale (NFS), it will be happily accepted for this Members’ Show.

Artists’ Reception:

·      Saturday, November 18, 3pm-5pm


Pick Up Artwork

·      Sunday, December 10: 5pm-6pm & Monday, December 11: 9am-11am
