Artful Framer Studios: A lifelong art lover, graphic designer, and framer with nearly 10 years of experience, Hope Dye is the owner of Artful Framer Studios located at 2938 N. Clark St. in Lakeview East, Chicago.

With a degree in Business and a minor in art, Hope’s professional career started in graphic design for a publishing company. She was introduced to framing when she worked part-time in a family friend’s business. Hope quickly realized that she had a passion for framing and started thinking about someday opening her own framing studio.

Artful Framer Studios (formerly/partially known as Art de Triumph) was established by Nancie King Mertz in 2000. Hope began working for Nancie in 2019. When Nancie and her husband decided to move out of the city, Hope realized she had an opportunity to do what she most loved doing and decided to buy the studio in 2022.

With a year of business ownership under her belt, Hope’s dream is to make Artful Framer Studios more than a frame shop, but a place of community for local artists.
