Eligibility: Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters Association (MBPAPA) members who have paid their 2023 dues. For further information please see our website - www.mbpapa.org.
Theme: Paintings will be done in plein air with at least 80% completed on site. Scenes may be anywhere in California.
Paintings requirements:
- Paintings are to be completed primarily in plein air
- They may not have been exhibited in a prior MBPAPA show.
- All paintings will be hand delivered to the show, framed and ready to hang with hanging wire.
- The paintings’ dimensions cannot be larger than 28 inches in height
or width unframed
Please note: In addition to the usual information on the back of your painting each piece should have a removable label on the Front of each work with title and name of artist. These “stickies” will be removed once the wall labels are up.
Sales : PG Art Center will receive a 40% commission of sales price on all pieces sold. So please take that into account when you price your entries.
Image Submission: This is a juried exhibit. Each artist may submit a maximum of 3 digital images to "onlinejuriedshows.com" for the jury selection process. The juror will be instructed to only pick a maximum of 2 entries per artist. This way more members have a chance to be in the show. Digital image submission and fees paid on "onlinejuriedshows.com" - no later than midnight August 2, 2023 Notification of Acceptance —August 11, 2023
Hand deliver accepted and framed work to the PG Art Center August 26, 2023 between 1-4pm
Exhibit: September 1, 2023 to October 26, 2023
Opening reception: September 1, 2023, 7pm
Pick up Paintings — October 27, 2023 1 -4 pm
Please note: artwork must remain up for the duration of the exhibit. No early pickup.
