The Call:
Cotuit Center for the Artist invites artist members from Rocky Neck Art Colony to submit work for inclusion in “Cape to Cape: Rocky Neck Art Colony at CCftA” to be held in the Upper Gallery at Cotuit Center for the Arts.
Cape to Cape is a collaboration between Rocky Neck Art Colony and Cotuit Center for the Arts.
Two exhibits are planned for the spring/summer season. The first exhibition, to be held at the Cultural Center at Rocky Neck in Gloucester from April 27 to June 4, will feature a juried selection of works by members of Cotuit Center for the Arts. The second, to be held at the Cotuit Center for the Arts from June 17 to July 23, will showcase a juried selection of works by Rocky Neck Art Colony. These two exhibits will offer artist members from both organizations an opportunity for exposure to a new community of
art enthusiasts.
We encourage submissions that speak to our shared
connection to nature and the sea, and that reflect a sensibility shaped
by that space – both the isolation and the strong community that the isolation breeds.
