Gallery Information

The Rental Sales Gallery is part of Portland Art Museum. Founded in 1959, the Gallery has operated continuously since, providing a space for artists from the Pacific Northwest to show their works. As part of the Museum, the Gallery operates as a non-profit, putting focus on supporting our artists.

All works that are submitted to the Gallery by our Member Artists are made available to be both rented and purchased. Rental prices are calculated using the purchase price of the piece, set by the artist. Artists receive 50% of all rentals and 60% of all sales.

Gallery Member Artists have the opportunity to showcase their works through the Rental Sales Gallery. We host two major shows a year, in the Spring and the Fall, where our artists can submit new works to be displayed.
