EXHIBITION DESCRIPTION

We are pleased to announce that the California Art Club and Blue Wing Gallery are collaborating to organize an exhibition that will feature artwork created during the CAC’s ‘Capturing the Spirit of the Woodland Retreat’ from June 3 – 9, 2022.

Open to CAC members that participated in the ‘Capturing the Spirit of the Woodland Retreat’

SUBJECT

We encourage you to submit realist work featuring the sights found during the CAC’s seven-day retreat to Woodland, California. Works can include landscapes, architecture, figures or still lifes.

Submit artwork that best represents your talents as a contemporary-traditional artist and member of the California Art Club.

MEDIUM & DIMENSIONS

Paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel or acrylic

Sculptures in permanent materials such as bronze, marble, terra cotta, fiberglass, or wood

Please note that paintings are limited to 18” x 24”, and sculptures are limited to 20” W x 20” H x 20” D

COMMISSION

60% Artist; 20% Blue Wing Gallery; 20% CAC

DEADLINE

Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 11:59 p.m.

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

To apply for this exhibition, register with Online Juried Shows and upload artworks in high-resolution, reproduction-quality.

Each artist may submit unlimited works.

ENTRY FEE

$35 for first image submitted, $10 for each additional image

Please pay by credit card or Paypal through Online Juried Shows.

NOTIFICATIONS

Artists will be notified via email on or around Monday, July 18, 2022

ARTWORK DROP-OFF

Tuesday, August 23 – Friday, August 26; 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Delivery and shipping information will be provided upon notification of acceptance.

NOTE: Artists will be responsible for the cost of crating, handling, and shipping artwork to and from Blue Wing Gallery.

ARTISTS’ RECEPTION

Friday, September 2, 2022; 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Blue Wing Gallery.

ARTWORK PICK-UP

Saturday, October 29, 2022; 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. or

November 1 – 2, 2022; 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
