EVENT TITLE

Parallel Views: Artist Alliance at The Studio Door

DESCRIPTION

This is a call to artists who are members of OMA with the Artist Alliance add-on to submit artwork for Parallel Views, an exhibition that seeks to celebrate the natural beauty of Southern California and the region’s rich architectural history with artworks featuring landscapes and/or built structures in Southern California.

Celebrate the natural beauty of Southern California and the region’s innovative architectural history through diverse works of art by Oceanside Museum of Art’s Artist Alliance. The southwestern corner of the U.S. draws international attention for its astonishing views of the ocean, desert and mountains. This is matched only by the glorious Victorian, Modern, Renaissance and Mission architectural landmarks, which are often influenced by historic Mexican and Spanish cultural references. The exhibition is seeking artworks that celebrate either or both of these aesthetics as created by local artists.

Submissions will be accepted exclusively through OnlineJuriedShows.com (OJS).
