A Call for Entries

Mural and 3D Wall Artists

We are looking for a permanent mural or 3D work that will be adhered to the 40’ x 30’ outside front wall of the Maynard Fine Arts Theatre in Maynard MA.

The accepted artist will receive $10,000 for the completion of this project.

A theater or film theme is preferred however something colorful and eye-catching will certainly be juried. All creative ideas are welcome!

Since 1949, Fine Arts Theatre Place has been Maynard’s community theatre. It has been the perfect venue to gather and see first-run, classic, and indie films, have some popcorn, and share an evening with friends and family.

A complete renovation begun in 2013 has restored this gem to its former glory. The goal of the theatre’s newest owners is to establish the theatre as a cultural, educational, and entertainment center for the communities of greater Maynard.
