2022 Nigra Arts Center Regional Art Show

Exhibition Details:
The Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts is pleased to announce its annual Regional Art Show, featuring
only the works of artists who live or work in New York’s Fulton, Montgomery and neighboring counties.
Art in all media and from any artist within the region is welcome. Pieces selected will hang alongside a
showcase of art by elementary, middle and high school students from the region’s schools.
All works must be submitted via the website www.OnlineJuriedShows.com.
Awards:
Through the generous donations of supporters, the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts is able to offer
awards and prizes for this show.
Eligibility:
All works must be original works of the artist.
All entries must be of original design and personal execution.
Artwork previously shown at Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts is not eligible for submission.
Nudity Policy:
Due to the wide range of ages and cultures of the guests we host regularly at the Nigra Arts Center, we
are not able to accept content that includes frontal nudity or is sexual in theme. It is the sole discretion
of the Nigra Arts Center gallery administrator and executive director to accept or reject submissions that
may fall under these guidelines.
Fees:
The fee for entry of up to three (3) works will be $25 for non-members ($10 per additional entry) for a
maximum of five entries. Members of the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts may submit three entries
for $15 ($7 per additional entry) for a maximum of five entries. Those submitting online should
complete their payment at www.OnlineJuriedShows.com. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be
paid by the entry deadline. Artists interested in becoming members should visit

Legal:
All works must be of original design and copyright of the artist.
The Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts reserves the right to utilize all images submitted to this show in
promotion of the exhibition and for the general promotion of the arts center.
The Nigra Arts Center may rescind the right of hanging any work unsuitably presented or
misrepresented.
Selected Works:
Selection notification will be sent by email by February 16, 2021, at which time explicit instructions will
be given regarding artwork drop-off.
Selected works must be received at the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts during the following days:
Wednesday, March 2; Thursday, March 3; and Friday, March 4 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Saturday,
March 5, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Artists MUST make an appointment for drop-off by calling (518)
661-9932 or emailing Megan Balser at balserm@thearclexington.org.
Works that are shipped to the Nigra Art Center must be received by March 5, 2022. The mailing address for the Nigra Arts Center is 2736 New York 30, Gloversville, NY 12078.
The Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts will retain a 20% commission on all works sold.
Selected artwork must be suitably framed and ready for installation.
All shipping is at the expense of the artist. There is a $10 handling fee for each package shipped to the
Nigra Arts Center. The handling fee covers condition reporting and photographing of the work as it
arrives and follow up condition report at the conclusion of the exhibition. You must include a prepaid
shipping label for the return of the work. If we do not receive the $10 handling fee or the
prepaid shipping label, we will not be able to mail your work back to you. Accepted artists will
receive detailed information regarding shipping and handling requirements.
Unsold work must be picked up promptly after the show closes. Work that is not collected 60 days
after the last day of the show will be forfeited to the Nigra Arts Center. Pickup dates for this
exhibition are Friday, April 15; Monday, April 18; Tuesday, April 19; and Wednesday, April 20 from 9
a.m. to 6 p.m. or Saturday, April 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
