QUALIFICATIONS:
Open to all LPAPA members in good standing,
Signature Members, Artist Members and Student Members
SUBJECT MATTER:
Open to subjects that depict the best representation of the show’s nocturne theme “From Dusk to Dawn”
DEADLINE:
Monday, June 27, 2022 (by 11:59 pm)
ART ELIGIBILITY:
Plein air and studio work accepted, all painting mediums
Entries must not violate copyright laws
Entries must be original and executed within the last 2 years
Maximum unframed size not to exceed 60 united inches (Length + width)
Minimum unframed size not to be less than 12 united inches (Length & width)
All Work must be framed and wired ready to hang
COMMISSION:
50% to Artist, 50% to LPAPA
All artwork Must be for sale
HOW TO APPLY:
Submit jpeg images for review via www.onlinejuriedshows.com
You may submit up to a maximum of 6 images
ENTRY FEE:
Payment through onlinejuriedshows
You may submit up to 2 images for $35. Each additional image up to 6 is $5
NOTIFICATIONS:
Notifications will be sent to artists via email on or around Tuesday, July 5, 2022
ART DROPOFF & PICKUP:
Finalist Artwork to be delivered to the LPAPA Gallery by Tuesday August 2, 2022 between 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Unsold gallery artwork to be picked up on Tuesday August 30, 2022 between 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Artwork may be shipped to and from the LPAPA Gallery at the artist’s expense
Artwork not received within the specified delivery window may not be eligible for awards judging
Semi-Finalist Artwork to be delivered to City Hall on Saturday July 30, 2022 between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Unsold gallery artwork to be picked up on Saturday September 24, 2022 between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Artwork may be shipped to and from the LPAPA Gallery at the artist’s expense
Please Note: LPAPA does not have the ability to store artwork from any show after it has closed when prior return arrangements for pick up or shipping have not been made by the artist. If after 14 days of a show closing the artist has not provided payment for return shipping or picked up their work, the unclaimed artwork will be considered abandoned and become the property of LPAPA.
