EXHIBITION DESCRIPTION
|
We are pleased to announce that the California Art Club and Blue Line Arts are collaborating to organize the exhibition, The California Art Club Biennale: Celebrating California.
Dr. Craig Nelson, the Executive Director of the School of Fine Art Painting at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and a lauded artist in his own right, will juror the Biennale.

ELIGIBLE TO APPLY
|
Open to current California Art Club members in the following chapters; Greater Sacramento/Sierra, Central Coast, Monterey Bay, San Francisco Bay Area and Santa Barbara Chapters. Signature Sculptors are also eligible to submit.

|
SUBJECT
|
We encourage you to submit realist work of any genre, including landscapes, seascapes, urban scenes, figures, or still lifes. Submit artwork that best represents your talents as a contemporary-traditional artist and member of the California Art Club.
|
|
MEDIUM & DIMENSIONS
|
Paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel or acrylic
Sculptures in permanent materials such as bronze, marble, terra cotta, fiberglass, or wood
No size restrictions. Though, please note, works must be able to fit through the venue’s 10’ doors.

COMMISSION
|
60% Artist; 20% Blue Line Arts; 20% CAC
|

SUBMISSION INFORMATION
|
To apply for this exhibition, register with Online Juried Shows and upload artworks in high-resolution, reproduction-quality.
Each artist may submit up to 5 works.
|
|
ENTRY FEE
|
$35 for first image submitted, $10 for each additional image (may submit up to 5 images).
Please pay by credit card through Online Juried Shows.
|
|
NOTIFICATIONS
|
Artists will be notified via their OnlineJuriedShows account on or around Friday, June 17th, 2022
|
|
ARTWORK DROP-OFF
|
Sunday, September 18 and Monday, September 19, 2022; 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Delivery and shipping information will be provided upon notification of acceptance.
NOTE: Artists will be responsible for the cost of crating, handling, and shipping artwork to and from Blue Like Arts.

PRIVATE RECEPTION
|
Friday, September 23, 2022; 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Blue Line Arts.
|

ARTWORK PICK-UP
|
