Gallery Jury Entry 2022

The Desert Art Center invites local artists to submit artwork to our jury for review. If accepted, you can become a new Gallery Member, display and sell your work at the DAC. Please be aware that this is a co-operative gallery and members are expected to host the gallery one day a month as a minimum contribution and take part in its co-operative nature. This is a two-part application process, during which your art will initially be assessed in the first stage as digital images. Please read the Gallery Display rules on our website and choose the gallery display category for your application. In order to submit for jury you must become a Regular Member of the DAC; we invite you to do this online at


Fees - There is a non-refundable $25 jury application fee payable to onlinejuriedshows. Successful Gallery members are also required to pay an annual $50 Gallery Hanging fee. This is payable to the DAC if you are accepted.


Stage 1 Entry — For the first stage, please follow the rules for digital submission. As a new applicant, you may submit in only one category.  (Existing Gallery members may submit in a new section but please read the gallery display rules for requirements.) You are asked to submit between 6-10 digital images of your artwork. The title of each photo should contain the Title of the work, the medium and size. 


Stage 2 Shortlist Entry  From the initial applicants, the jurors will select a shortlist of artists, who will be asked to bring in two representative pieces of work on Sunday, Nov 21, between 9-10am to the Desert Art Center in Palm Springs.  You will be able to collect your art between 2-3pm.

Successful New Gallery Members  will be notified by email with the results of the jury's review. If your work is accepted, you will be eligible to become a Gallery Member. Since all Gallery Members who show work in the gallery are required to spend one day a month hosting the gallery, you will be required to attend an orientation, dates to be announced later.

We invite Regular Members of the Desert Art Center  to submit artwork to our jury. If accepted as a new Gallery Member, you will be able to display and sell your work at the DAC. There are 4 or 5 major shows each year and the gallery is open five days a week, Thursday-Monday.
