QUALIFICATIONS
|
Open to all current members of the CAC Malibu/Ventura County and Los Angeles County Chapters.
|
|
SUBJECT MATTER
|
This exhibition will showcase the beauty of Malibu/Ventura County. Paintings should be at least 85% painted en plein air – we encourage our artists to go out and explore the wonderful community in Malibu and Ventura!
Please submit images either focusing on local costal or harbor scenes, the beautiful vast farmlands, orchards, air fields, train tracks or local mountains.

MEDIUM & DIMENSIONS
|
Paintings in oil, watercolor, pastel or acrylic. Please keep dimensions to 12” x 16” or smaller, before framing.
|

HOW TO APPLY
|
Submit all artwork through OnlineJuriedShows.com for consideration to exhibit in En Plein Air: An Exploration of Malibu and Ventura County. There is a limit of five entries. Submission fees are non-refundable.

ENTRY FEE
|
Please pay by credit card through OnlineJuriedShows.com. For $30, you may submit 1 image. Additional images are $5 each. There is a limit of 5 entries per artist.

NOTIFICATIONS
|
Notifications will be sent to artists via their OnlineJuriedShows account on or around Monday, November 22, 2021.
|
|
ARTWORK DROP-OFF /PICK-UP
|
Drop-off: Monday, January 10, 2022 between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Please note that if there is a conflict with this drop-off date to contact the Museum to schedule an earlier appointment. 805.525.5554
Pick-up: Monday, May 9, 2022 between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

|
PREPARING PAINTINGS
|
If an artwork sells, the artist will be responsible for preparing and packaging the work for shipment.
Please label the back of paintings with your name, title of the artwork, medium, dimensions and price.
|
|
SHIPPING and SALES
|
If a work sells, the collector will assume shipping costs, if applicable. The CAC will process all sales, and handing tax or any applicable fees.
