Eligibility: Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters Association (MBPAPA) members who have paid their 2021 dues. For further information please see our website - www.mbpapa.org. 

Theme: With the Pandemic windows and looking through them out at the world has taken on a special meaning. Let’s focus on all the gorgeous vistas people could see in this area by painting them. 

Paintings requirements: 

  • Paintings are to be completed primarily en plein air or be plein air inspired studio pieces 
  • They may not have been exhibited in a prior MBPAPA show
  • All paintings will be delivered to the show framed and ready to hang -- including hanging wire.
  • The paintings’ dimensions cannot be larger than 24 inches in height or width unframed 

Please note: In addition to the usual information on the back of your painting each piece should have a removable label on the Front of each work with title and name of artist. These “stickies” will be removed once the wall labels are up. 

Sales : PG Art Center will receive a 40% commission of sales price on all pieces sold. So please take that into account when you price your entries. 

Image Submission: This is a juried exhibit. Each artist may submit a maximum of 3 digital images to "onlinejuriedshows.com" for the jury selection process. However the juror will be instructed to only pick a maximum of 2 entries per artist. This way more members have a chance to be in the show. For further information and to pay the $35 jury fee go to "onlinejuriedshows.com", scroll down to the MBPAPA General Membership Show listing and click "enter this show".

Digital image submission and fees paid on "onlinejuriedshows.com" - no later than midnight August 13, 2021 

Notification of Acceptance —Aug.24th, 2021 

Deliver accepted and framed work to the PG Art Center Aug.28th 2021between 1-4pm 

Exhibit –September 3, 2021 to October 28th, 2021 

Opening reception -- Obviously we are not yet sure how the reception will be handled at this time. You will get more information in the acceptance letters. 

Pick up Paintings — Oct.29th, 2021 12 - 4 pm 

Please note: artwork must remain up for the duration of the exhibit. No early pickup.
