Northwest Pastel Society 2021 Signature Members Show July 2, 2021- August 2, 2021

This is an exhibition for current Northwest Pastel Society Signature members only.
Entry fee is $25 for up to 3 images. At least one entry will be hung. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be paid by the entry deadline.
This is a juried show. NPS signature members, who enter, will have at least one and up to 3 paintings accepted to hang in the Scott Milo Gallery. All paintings accepted will be on the onlinejuriedshows published show. All accepted entries will be considered as possible images for the Scott Milo Gallery show advertising postcard.
Awards: First, $500; second, $300; third place, $200 and honorable mention awards. The judge is Anne Schreivogl, Anacortes. To view her work go to www.screechingbird.com
Eligibility
• Artists must be current signature members of the Northwest Pastel Society. Dues up to Date.
• All work must be original in concept and executed by the artist in the pastel medium within the last five years. This time line has been extended due to Covid 19.
• Work exhibited in previous NPS exhibits is not eligible.
• No instructor-assisted (hands-on) work is eligible.
• Mixed media pieces must be 80% predominately pure pigment (soft) pastel.
• Work must be originally drawn, not from digital projection or created on top of a base photo/print.
Submission of entries
Enter digital images online at www.OnlineJuriedShows.com. Signature member artists may submit up to 3 paintings for this exhibition.
• Images should be 72 dpi, 1920 pixels on the longest side of the image. List sizes to the nearest inch.

Sizes: Minimum artwork size 9X12 to maximum of 18X24 (not including frame). All work must be framed and ready to hang with strong tight wire and flat metal D ring type hangers. Work should arrive at the gallery in good condition, with no pastel dust on the mat or glass. The Gallery suggests entering larger paintings if available.
Sales
All work must be for sale and realistically priced. A 50% commission will be taken by the Scott Milo Gallery.
Important Dates:
Deadline for entry: Saturday , May 22, 2021
Hand delivery to gallery: Tuesday, June 29, 2021 between 11am-2pm.
There will be information about available area pickups and deliveries to be included in acceptance information.
Shipped work must arrive by June 25 to Donna Trent

Awards winners will be notified on Friday, July 2, 2021
Show entries picked up: Monday, August 2, 2021 from 11am- 2pm at gallery
Show chairs will help in organizing pick up and delivery with area volunteers.
