MBPAPA Signature Member Show

Plein Air to Studio

July 3rd - August 27, 2020

Eligibility:   Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters Association (MBPAPA)  members who hold "signature member" status and who have paid their 2020 dues.  For further information please see our website -  www.mbpapa.org.  

 

Theme:  The exhibit theme will be “Plein Air to Studio” 

 

Paintings requirements: 

The work submitted to OJS for jurying will be the Studio Pieces only. At drop off of the accepted pieces please also include a small framed plein air study that was the inspiration for the studio piece. It will be hung below the Studio painting.

 

  • Paintings may not have been exhibited prior in a MBPAPA show 
  • All paintings will be delivered to the show ready to hang including hanging wire.
  • The painting dimensions must not be larger than be 18x24

 

Please note: the back of the painting should contain a firmly attached label that states your name, title, medium and price. For help with the hanging a sticky with name and title should be on the front as well.

 

 

Image Submission:  This is a juried exhibit.  Each signature member artist may submit a maximum of 3 digital images of the studio pieces to "onlinejuriedshows.com" for the jury selection process.  For further information and to pay the $35 jury fee go to "onlinejuriedshows.com", scroll down to the “Plein Air to Studio" listing and click "enter this show".  

 

 

Please note:

By entering you are promising to deliver the painting if it is juried in and you will not offer it for sale in the meantime.

 

PG Art Center charges 40% commission on all pieces sold during the exhibit.

Digital image submission and fees paid  "onlinejuriedshows.com"  - no later than 11:59 pm Sat. June 13th.

 Notification of Acceptance –Monday June 22nd, 2020

 

Deliver accepted work  to the PG Art Center on Saturday June 27th between 1-3pm.

Exhibit –July 3rd through August 27th.

Opening reception --  All MBPAPA members, guests and the public are invited to an opening reception be held July 3rd 2020 7-9 pm

Pick up of Paintings – Friday Aug 28th,  1-3pm
