COVID-19 - Taking into account the latest updates from CDC and other health officials, and each local/city and state's individual responses to the spread of the coronavirus, it's possible that the Artist's Alpine Holiday could be canceled. We will make that decision no later than May 1st. Please check back before making any registration payments.
The 60th Artists’ Alpine Holiday Fine Art Show and Sale is open to all artists and photographers over 18. Artists’ Alpine Holiday each year brings over 400 works of art, including sculpture and photography. The show is generally attended by close to 2,000 visitors from over 30 states as well as several foreign countries. Approximately 10% or more of the art is sold during the show’s run each year. Proceeds from percentage of sales, as well as monies received from entry fees, memberships, and cash donations, are used to support ongoing shows, including the awarding of prizes and payment of the show’s judges.
ENTRY RULES
The Artists’ Alpine Holiday Fine Art Show and Sale is open to all artists 18 and older.
· All Entries for the juried show must be submitted on-line at www.onlinejuriedshows.com These entries are eligible for awards. Please read through the rules prior to logging onto Online Juried Shows.
· AWARDS - Cash awards of over $5000. 1st place in each media $400, 2nd place $200, 3rd place $100. Best of Show $500

1. All artwork must be for sale. OCAA retains a 30% commission on all sales. Include this when pricing your work.
2. Entries to all categories must be original work, NOT SHOWN PREVIOUSLY at an Artists’ Alpine Holiday Show. All artwork must be original in concept and not copied from any copyright protected photos or artwork. No artwork created during an instructor-guided workshop will be accepted.
CATEGORIES:
3. The following media will be accepted: Watercolor (WC), Drawing-Print Making (D/P), Oil/Acrylic (O/A), Pastel (PA), Mixed Media (MM), Sculpture (SC), and Photography (PH). If any category does not receive a minimum number of entries, those entries may be combined with another category for jurying.
4. Framed entries may not exceed 9 square feet including the frame. (Sq. ft.= L x W divide by 144) All entries must be completely prepared for hanging with wire. No picture hooks or teeth hangars are allowed.
5. No crafts, stained glass, jewelry, or reproduction prints will be accepted. Sculpture must be non-functional and 3-D. Triptych’s count as three entries.
6. No entry may be removed from the show before the end of the exhibit.
7. SHIPPING OF ARTWORK: Shipped artwork MUST be sent in an AIRFLOAT lined strongbox from www.airfloatsys.com or a similar foam lined box such as Uline www.uline.com. Any artwork shipped in loose materials, such as packing peanuts will not be unpacked or hung in the show. All unsold art will be returned in the same box with your pre-paid UPS label. (A $10 handling fee for shipped artwork will be charged.)

· DEADLINE FOR SHIPPED WORK: RECEIVED BY, JULY 22nd.
· Any artwork damaged during shipping will be returned to sender.
· Unsold, shipped artwork will be return shipped the week of August 10th, and artists will be notified of shipping date by email.
8. HAND DELIVERY OF ARTWORK: Must be checked in at the Ouray Community Center, 320 6th Ave, Ouray, CO 81427, Sunday, July 26th between 11 AM until 4 PM or Monday, July 27th, 9 AM – 12 Noon.

1. Are you a member of OCAA or a non-member?
· OCAA members with dues current $30.00 (one or two entries)
· Paid Members add $5.00 for a third entry.
· Non-members $40.00 (one or two entries). You must be a current-year paid member to have a third entry.

2. Submitting/uploading your digital files to Online Juried Shows: If you entered previously through Online Juried Shows your login information is the same. If you’ve changed email or postal addresses please update your online profile with Online Juried Services to assure that we contact you at your current email address.
· Please have your image files ready to attach to the form according to these specifications:

- When photographing your art for uploading do not photograph the frame or mat. Name/rename your file(s) as shown below:

4. Accepted entries must match the digital images originally submitted or they will be disqualified.
*Please note that we no longer have a second room for art that has been juried out. The Community Center is adding offices which greatly reduced our ability to store our display panels for the adjoining room.
Notification of Acceptance
Notifications will be emailed from Ourayarts@gmail.com between July 1-3, 2020.

Disclaimer/Legal – Ouray County Arts Association reserves the right to use images of entries for publicity with credits to the artist.
Great care is taken to protect your artwork but please note that the artist assumes the risk of loss or damage to the artwork during transportation and while the artwork is in the custody of the Ouray County Arts Association. The artist is responsible for making such insurance arrangements as the artist deems appropriate.
OCAA will not be responsible for errors made by the artist in filling out the Entry Form for the show. This includes misspellings and incorrect pricing. All efforts will be made to correct mistakes brought to the attention of OCAA by the artist prior to the show.

Pickup of Artwork
9. Unsold artwork must be picked up at the Ouray Community Center 320 6th Ave. Ouray, on Saturday, August 8 between 5:15 PM and 7 PM or Sunday, August 9th between 10 AM and 2 PM. Artwork not picked up at the end of the show will be assessed storage fees of $10 per day.
