National Greeley Art Exhibition
2019 National Greeley Art Exhibit & Sale

PROSPECTUS

The 2019 National Greeley Art Exhibit and Sale will be staged at Greeley’s newest addition, The Millennium Event Center, October 3rd – 6th, 2019. During this time Greeley celebrates its “Artober” which shines a spotlight on Art in our Community, bringing a large audience from far and wide to view YOUR art!  This will be our 53rd year staging the National Greeley Art Exhibit and Sale (NGAE), which funds scholarships and fellowships for art students and artists alike in Weld County.

ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS. Open to all artists who create original fine art in all media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and ceramics. All entries must be clearly identified, priced for sale, must have been created within the last 3 years, and be original works of art, not copied from other artists or published materials or with assistance from other artists. Giclees are not eligible.  Art must be framed and completely prepared for hanging with wire, no saw tooth hangers and no exposed glass edges. Gallery wrapped canvas with painted edges and plaque mounted art are accepted.  No three-dimensional pieces will be attached to floor or suspended from ceiling.

Accepted entries must match the accepted digital images, or they will be disqualified.  Prices listed on the entry form may not be changed.   Your entry into the exhibit signifies a commitment to send the art that is accepted.  By not sending an accepted work you are denying another artist the opportunity to be included in the exhibit.  If you do not send an accepted entry you will be ineligible to enter future NGAE Exhibitions as determined by the NGAE Board. All artwork must be for sale.  The NGAE commission is 30%.  Juried work will be kept for the duration of the show.  Bin art will be released at time of sale.
