ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Associate Members Show & Sale 2019 is sponsored by the Outdoor Painters Society and will be hosted by Navarro Council of the Arts, Corsicana, Texas. This will be a salon-style show and sale for Associate Members only with the theme “Plein Visions in Miniature”. All work submitted must be available for the show and sale.

ENTRY FEES:
Entries submitted must be available for show and sale. Artists must submit 2 images, and no more than 4. Entry fee of $35 for the first 2 and a fee of $10 for each one thereafter. All entries must be submitted through www.onlinejuriedshows.com.
SHOW FORMAT:
· This is a juried competition of miniature plein air paintings.
· Only original paintings created en plein air will be accepted.
· All paintings must be available and for sale
· 1 painting is guaranteed accepted from artist’s application for entry
· A maximum of 2 entries will be accepted per artist.
· There are size restrictions, so please read the rules before submitting your entry(s).
ABOUT THE HOST VENUE:
Navarro Council of the Arts exhibition space – “The Warehouse” - is one of the best known and highly respected exhibition venues in north Texas and has hosted fine art group and solo exhibitions of Traditional, Contemporary, Western and Impressionists works.
ABOUT THE JURY PANEL:
A panel consisting of 5 OPS Signature Members will jury the entries. The decision of the jury is final. There is no refund of entry fees for unaccepted entries. Participants will be notified no later than July 20 of the jury panel selections by email and a posting on the Outdoor Painters Society website.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Entrant must be at least 18 years of age and an Associate Member of Outdoor Painters Society. Visit www.outdoorpainterssociety.com, Select the tab “Join us” and follow the instructions for online payment. Current Associate Members must renew 2019 on or before entry deadline: Midnight, July 1, 2019. Go to OPS website www.outdoorpainterssociety.com , sign in, and renew on your profile page. Associate Membership: $45
IMPORTANT: Dues must be paid by Midnight, July 1, 2019 for your entry to qualify. There will be no refund of entry fees if disqualified for non-payment of dues by deadline. NO EXCEPTIONS.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS “PLEIN VISIONS IN MINIATURE” SHOW & SALE RULES:
1. There will be no exceptions for deadlines, specifications or rules.
2. Must be 18 and an Associate member in good standing (current with 2019 dues paid) of Outdoor Painters Society.
3. Original, realistic and/or representational art painted en Plein Air (on location) ONLY. No studio paintings will be accepted. Paintings created in a workshop or while under the instruction of an instructor/artist are ineligible.
4. Paintings must have been completed within the last 2 years.
5. Paintings must be for sale and priced at $350 (retail) minimum. Any artwork priced below the show minimum will automatically have its price increased and any additional artwork accepted by the same artist will be priced accordingly.
6. RETAIL PRICE MUST INCLUDE THE FRAME. Navarro Arts Council sales commission is 30% of the retail price.
7. Minimum size: 8 x 10, excluding frame.
8. Maximum size: no side may exceed 16 inches, excluding frame.
9. Paintings not meeting the minimum or maximum dimensions will not be displayed.
10. Paintings must be framed in a “gallery quality” frame, wired and ready for hanging. (no gallery wrap canvases) Paintings not meeting these standards will not be displayed.
11. Your entry must be submitted through www.onlinejuriedshows.com.
12. Upon application submission and payment of fees, Associate member is guaranteed acceptance of 1 painting.
13. A maximum of 2 entries per member will be accepted. Applicants will receive notification with exhibition details by email.
14. All decisions by the jury panel and Outdoor Painters Society Board are final.
15. Submission of entries and entry fee constitute agreement with all conditions set forth in this prospectus. Digital images are assumed to be accurate representation of the entrant’s original art works. Artwork that differs markedly from the submitted image will be disqualified.
16. Show venue will receive shipped entries and repack unsold entries for shipment back to artist. Shipping of accepted works to and from the show venue will be arranged by and at the expense of the artist. Hand delivered work is allowed.
17. Shipping & delivery instructions will be included in notification email. All work is to be delivered at the appointed date and time. Pick up of all work is at the appointed date and time as set forth in the shipping instructions.
CASH AWARDS: Estimated $2500. All proceeds from entry fees (after expenses) will be applied to cash awards.

By entering the show, you agree that you have read and will abide by all rules outlined in this prospectus. The Outdoor Painters Society, Associate Members Show & Sale, The Warehouse, and Navarro Council of the Arts are not responsible for the loss or damage of any artwork, for any reason, no matter what the cause. By submitting artwork to this exhibition, you understand and agree with this statement. Insurance for any loss or damage to artwork is the sole responsibility of the participating artist. The artist also agrees to handle the shipment and removal of accepted works as set forth in the shipping instructions.
