PROSPECTUS -  Fine Arts in the Pines

 “The Heart of Christmas”

Fine Arts in the Pines, a non-profit art school is proud to host 

“The Heart of Christmas.”

A NATIONAL COMPETITION

A competition of two dimensional art works depicting flora, fauna, structures, city scenes, landscape and religious historic are acceptable and of course, Santa, his Elves, and all other imagery depicting Christmas.  (All two-dimensional medias accepted)

Entry deadline is November 30th, 2018.

Adult Division -18 and over / Prize $550 (Teens or Children may enter adult category but must pay the adult fee to win the adult prize.)

Teen division – 13 to 17 / Prize $150 (Teens or Children may enter adult category but must pay the adult fee to win the adult prize.)

Children's Division – 8 to 12 / Prize $50 (Teens or Children may enter adult category but must pay the adult fee to win the adult prize.)

Adult Artists submit one entry at $35 and up to 5 more entries at an $5 per entry.

Teen submit one entry at $15 and up to 5 more entries at an $5 per entry.

Children's’ Category-submit one entry at $10 and up to 5 more entries at an $1 per entry.

All Categories' will receive 3 HONORABLE MENTIONS

JUDGING

Judging by Doug Pearson (possible alternate judges due to unforeseen conditions) 

All Judging will be online done on Friday, December 7th. 

Display on ground:  For those that wish to part of the on-ground exhibit, we request that your paintings are delivered December 4th through December 6th to Fine Arts School in the Pines, located at 492 Main Street, Placerville CA, 95667.

This display will continue until Wednesday, January  2, 2019.

GALA EVENT / CHRISTMAS PARTY

On Tuesday, December 11th, we will be having a  Christmas party and opening night reception for the show from 6:30 to 8:30.  All are invited,   Hors d’ Oeuvres and Christmas punch provided.

Fine Arts School in the Pines nor any its representatives will be responsible for damage or loss or any injury stemming from this event.  Entrants participate at their own risk and we suggest that participants study the locations and any potential hazards before participating in this event. from any cause. Insurance, if desired, is the responsibility of the artist.  By entering this competition you agree to these terms which are also inclusive of attending our Christmas Party / Gala event held on December 11th.
