ELIGIBILITY

Contest is open to all artists over the age 16 all over the world. Please read carefully to make sure your work meets the following entry requirements:
– Works must be done on UART paper only
– Works must be in dry pastel with final surface of a minimum of 80% dry pastel. NO OIL PASTELS. Mixed media must be predominantly (80%) dry pastel
– Work must be original, not copied from other artists or published materials.
– All artwork must be originally drawn and not created on top of a base photo or print
– All work must have been created within the last 12 months
– Paintings of nudes will be considered for acceptance
– Works done under supervision (such as in a workshop or class) are not eligible

ENTRY FEE

Entry fee is $25 per participant with one image, $10 for each additional image/painting (up to 4 paintings allowed per participant). Entry fee is nonrefundable and must be paid at time of entry. Entry deadline is at 11:59pm on June 17th, 2018

JUROR

Sally Strand will be jurying the show. All paintings will be submitted anonymously (as randomized numbers) to juror.

DIGITAL REQUIREMENTS

Please follow the instructions carefully regarding the preparation of your images:
– Only jpeg image files will be accepted
– Required image size is 1920 pixels on the longest side (if it is a horizontal image, 1920 pixels wide; if a vertical, 1920 pixels tall). Save your files with a resolution of 72 dpi.

NOTIFICATIONS

All accepted pieces will be notified on June 24th, 2018. All winners will be notified on July 1st, 2018.
