“California Dreaming”

Eligibility:   Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters Assocation (MBPAPA)  members  who have paid their 2018 dues.  For further information please see our website -  www.mbpapa.org. 

 

Theme:  The exhibit theme will be “California Dreaming”. 

The possibilities are wide open: California landscapes and seascapes as well as figurative, with for example people enjoying a quintessential California moment.

 

Paintings requirements:

 

• Paintings are to be completed primarily en plein air or be plein air inspired studio pieces

 

• They may not have been exhibited prior in a MBPAPA show

 

• All paintings will be delivered to the show framed and ready to hang, including hanging wire. 

 

• The  paintings’ dimensions cannot be larger than 36 inches in height or width unframed

 

 

 

Please note: In addition to the usual information on the back of your painting  each piece should have a removable label on the Front of each work with title, price, medium and name of artist. These “stickies” will be removed once the wall labels are up.

 

Sales :  PG Art Center will receive a 40% commission of sales price on all pieces sold.

 

Image Submission:  This is a juried exhibit.  Each artist may submit a maximum of 3 digital images to "onlinejuriedshows.com" for the jury selection process.  For further information and to pay the $35 jury fee go to "onlinejuriedshows.com", scroll down to the "MBPAPA General Membership Show “California Dreaming" listing and click "enter this show".

Notification of Acceptance ---June 26, 2018

 

Deliver accepted and framed work  to the PG Art Center June 30th, 2018 between 12-4pm

Exhibit –July 6 - Aug.31 2018

 

Opening reception --  All MBPAPA members, guests and the public are invited to an opening reception be held July 6, 2018 from  7-9 pm at the PG Art Center, 568 Lighthouse Ave., Pacific Grove, CA 93950

 

Pick up Paintings -- Aug.31, 2018 12-3pm
