Competition judges

The caricatures will be judged by a renowned caricaturist Court Jones. Court Jones is a commercial illustrator, portrait artist and art instructor. He holds a B.A. in Studio Art from the University of California, San Diego, and was an instructor for many years at the Watts Atelier of the Arts in Encinitas, California. Court also teaches individual workshops and has presented for private art groups and conventions around the world.
The focus of his illustration work is in caricature and humor. His art has appeared on books, magazines, newspapers, retail merchandise and advertisements. He has also done character designs for various film and TV projects. He has won several top awards for his caricature work, his fine art oil portraits and published illustrations. In 2005 Court was named Caricature Artist of the Year by the National Caricaturist Network. And in 2011 he was named Master Caricaturist of the Year by the International Society of Caricature Artists.

Other works will be juried-in by Lisa McKnett – a fine artist and the owner of Lisa McKnett Gallery.

Awards will be determined based on participation. However we guarantee display space in the gallery and advertisement on gallery website for each participant juried in for the duration of the show.
