Bank Show Prospectus
Entering Your Images
• Entry form must be filled out in its entirety. List sizes up to the nearest inch. Submitted images must not include matting or frame. Crop the photos to include only the artwork. Be sure your images are right-side-up.
• Before uploading your images, make sure they are smaller than 4MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi. Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space. Help in photographing your work and properly sizing your images can be found at: www.OnlineJuriedShows.com/help.aspx. Eligibility
This exhibit is open to all artists 18 or older AND have a residence in the parishes of central Louisiana (CenLa) defined here as the following parishes: Allen, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Catahoula, Concordia, Grant, La Salle, Natchitoches, Rapides, Sabine, and Vernon.
• Artwork previously accepted to a previous CAG art exhibit is not eligible.
• Works that are for sale and not for sale (NFS) are accepted. For sale art prices cannot be changed after the submission deadline date. There is a 35% commission on the sale of artwork (30% Alexandria Museum of Art and 5% CAG). Sold art must remain for the entirety of the show.
Fees
Current active CAG members: $10 for 2 images, $10 for each additional image. Non-CAG members: $35 includes 2 Images and guild membership (www.cagofcenla.com), $10 for each additional image.
Juror - Matthew DeFord
Matt DeFord is the Professor of Sculpture and Ceramics, Chair of the Department of Fine and Graphic Arts at Northwestern State University of Louisiana.
Matt DeFord lives and works in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He joined the art faculty at Northwestern State University in 2005, and is currently the chair of the Department of Fine + Graphic Arts. Matt received his M.F.A. in Sculpture at Kansas State University in December 2004, and a B.F.A. in Sculpture at Brigham Young University in August 2001. He specializes in mixed-media work, both virtual and literal. His pieces address the re-contextualization of material, and the commentary of contemporary forms of communication. Matt’s work has been exhibited from New Jersey to New Mexico, from Cuba to Canada.
Exhibition Details
This is the 39th annual showcase of central Louisiana artists. This year the show will be hosted at the beautiful Alexandria Museum of Art (past shows were displayed at the downtown Capital One Bank, thus the name “CAG Bank Show”). Previously a members-only exhibit, this year we are opening the show to all regional artists in the central Louisiana parishes and the event will be juried for the first time. There will be prizes of cash or gift certificates for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places and honorable mentions. Additionally, there may be purchase awards by local businesses. Categories
2D and 3D art pieces in all media are accepted. Artwork previously accepted to a previous CAG art exhibit is not eligible.
Delivery of accepted art to AMoA and return shipping is the responsibility of the artist. For shipped art pieces, a prepaid shipping label must be included with your artwork.
• Maximum size for 2-D wall artwork, including frame: height 72” x width 60”.
• Maximum size for wall hung sculpture: height 60” x width 48” x depth 5” with maximum weight 15 pounds (no exceptions). 12”x12” pedestals are available for sculpture 18”h x 10”w x 10”d maximum. Floor sculpture may be maximum 48”h x 36”w x 36”d.
• No sawtooth hangers. All works must be wired to gallery standards, able to support weight.
• Unframed artwork must be finished on all sides.
• All work must remain on exhibit during the entire show.
Art Delivery and Returns
AMoA employees and CAG members take the utmost care when handling artwork, however, neither the AMoA, CAG nor their agents will be held liable for work that is shipped damaged or is lost. Shipping insurance is the responsibility of the artist.
DELIVERY OF ACCEPTED WORKS
Accepted works may be shipped or hand delivered. Artwork MUST arrive to the AMoA by January 19th – NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED

The artist will be responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements to and from the AMoA. Shipped entries must be sent in reusable containers. The AMoA will pack each piece in its original packing when available.
Artists are responsible for arranging return shipping to the address of origin through their local USPS/FedEx/UPS or other shipping office. Shipping insurance is the responsibility of the artist. The AMoA and CAG are not responsible for works lost, stolen, or damaged once picked up by the shipper.
Check with your local shipper for prepaid return labels; call tag systems, and printable shipping labels. Artists are REQUIRED to include the return label with shipment.
Sales
The is a 35% commission on the sale of artwork – 30% AMoA & 5% CAG. Sold art must remain for the entirety of the show. Delivery of artwork is the responsibility of artist and buyer.
Lodging/Transportation
Lodging and transportation not provided.
Awards

January 5th – Notification to artists
January 19th – Deadline for selected works to be delivered to the museum. (No late entries will be accepted.)
January 26th @ 6 p.m. – Exhibition Opening Reception

REGARDING JURY NOTIFICATIONS: Notifications are sent through ConstantContact from Manager@OnlineJuriedShows.com. To ensure receipt of this notification, please add Manager@OnlineJuriedShows.com to your contact list, or safe senders’ list.
On the day of notification, you can do the following, but you will also receive an email notification, sent from ConstantContact, that will state the same.
1. Go to OnlineJuriedShows.com and log in using your email address and password.
2. Right above where you just logged in, click "Your Artist Profile." You are now in Your account!
3. Click the show name and you will see your first image. The jury results will be under the thumbnail view.
4. As you will see, it will say either "This Image has been Accepted or Declined in to the show." Under that sentence, you can click "Read Acceptance (or Declined) Letter." The letter will then be displayed below.
5. If you submitted more than one piece in the show, go to the next entered piece in the show by clicking the page number, displayed below the thumbnail image.
6. While you are in your account on OnlineJuriedShows.com, click "Personal Info" and make sure your name, address, phone number, and email address are up-to-date.
NOTE: Please be sure to read your letters in their entirety. Most acceptance letters will ask you to RSVP or will have special instructions you must follow.
