2017 Fall Members' Show


Eligibility:  Rental Sales Gallery artist members only.

Fees:  We will not be charging a fee for member artists, hence $0.

Jurors:  Jury is comprised of gallery manager, Museum staff with art education or local gallerist, long time member artist with art education, Mini-jury coordinator, and 1 longtime volunteer member familiar with inventory.

Exhibition Details:  Please submit 3 original works for our Fall Show taking place on Friday October 27th from 5-8pm. Digital images need not include the frame, but all works must be ready to hang for the show.

Categories: Most mediums accepted except jewelry, glass and unframed tapestry.  The gallery cannot accommodate works larger than 7' on one side and not at all if both sides are 6' x 6' or larger.  We are currently looking for all sized works.  3 submissions are allowed and 2 (max) will be accepted.  We do hope to beef up the inventory, however.

Entering Your Images:
•    Entry form must be filled out in its entirety.  List sizes up to the nearest inch.  Submitted images must not include matting or frame.  Crop the photos to include only the artwork.  Be sure your images are right-side-up.
•    Before uploading your images, make sure they are smaller than 4MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi.  Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space.  Help in photographing your work and properly sizing your images can be found at:  If you need help entering your images or are unable to, please write to us here:
•    Please add and to your safe senders list to ensure notifications are received.

Sales:  As artists know, we take 40% of a sale and 50% for a rental.

Calendar:  Open date to submit images begins Saturday Sept. 2nd thru the deadline of Sunday Sept. 17th at 11:59 p.m. PT.  Notification of works accepted will likely occur in mid/late Sept.  Framed, ready to hang artwork will be due in the gallery between Saturday, Sept. 30th thru Saturday, October 14th.  

Disclaimer The Rental Sales Gallery may choose to use your images for our website or for social media.  Images used for this purpose will not be large enough files to reproduce for re-sale.



Please note:  Notifications are sent through ConstantContact.

On the day of notification, you can do the following, but you will also receive an email notification, sent from Constant Contact, that will state the same.

1.  Go to and log in using your email address and password.

2.  Right above where you just logged in, click "Your Artist Profile."  You are now in Your account!

3.  Click the show name and you will see your first image.  The jury results will be under the thumbnail view.

4.  As you will see, it will say either "This Image has been Accepted or Declined in to the show."  Under that sentence, you can click "Read Acceptance (or Declined) Letter."  The letter will then be displayed below.

5.  If you submitted more than one piece in the show, go to the next entered piece in the show by clicking the page number, displayed below the thumbnail image.

NOTE:  Please be sure to read your letters in their entirety.  Most acceptance letters will ask you to RSVP or will have special instructions you must follow.
