SUBJECT
|
As home to Hollywood and the entertainment industry, California has cultivated one of the most impressive filmographies of starring roles in motion pictures and televisions shows. The year-round sunshine and natural beauty that attracted early California Art Club artists to paint throughout the Golden State also have enticed filmmakers with ideal settings and scenic backdrops for their projects. With Lights, Camera, California: Starring Roles for Scenic Sites we will explore both famous and not-so-famous sites that have made cameo appearances in film and television.

One must be an active Artist, Out-of-State Artist, Mentor Program or Signature Artist Member of the California Art Club to be eligible to apply forLights, Camera, California: Starring Roles for Scenic Sites.

60% Artist; 20% Old Mill; 20% CAC
All artwork MUST be for sale.

Upload artwork through Online Juried Shows to submit artwork for Lights, Camera, California: Starring Roles for Scenic Sites.
The is no limit to the number of pieces you can submit to the exhibition. There are no entry fees for this exhibition.
*Please be sure to specify what movie your painting was featured in. You can include this information in the "description" box on the entry form.

OUT-OF-TOWN SHIPPING
|
Must arrive before Friday, January 6, 2017.
Artists will be responsible for the cost of crating, handling, and shipping artwork to and from the exhibition via Box & Ship in Pasadena, CA. Box & Ship will charge a $40.00 handling fee. Further shipping information will be provided upon acceptance.

Entering Your Images:
Entry form must be filled out in its entirety. List sizes up to the nearest inch. Submitted images must not include matting or frame. Crop the photos to include only the artwork. Be sure your images are right-side-up.
Before uploading your images, make sure they are smaller than 4MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi. Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space.
