Entering Your Images:
Entry form must be filled out in its entirety. List sizes up to the nearest inch. Submitted images must not include matting or frame. Crop the photos to include only the artwork. Be sure your images are right-side-up.
Before uploading your images, make sure they are smaller than 4MB. The OnlineJuriedShows system will automatically resize them to 1920 pixels on the longest side @72 dpi. Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space. Help in photographing your work and properly sizing your images can be found at: www.OnlineJuriedShows.com/help.aspx. Art Entry Eligibility:
• Original plein air work only, no still life.
• Subject matter to reflect theme; “Painting the Light - Land and Sea” -Landscapes, urban landscapes, nocturnes and streetscapes.
• Entries must not violate copyright laws.
• Maximum horizontal framed size: 28 inches
• All work must be wired and ready to hang. No saw tooth hangers.
• All work for digital jurying should be submitted UNSIGNED.
Nature of entries:
• Submit JPEG entries via Onlinedjuriedshows.com.
• Artists may submit up to two (2) entries for $35 and two (2) additional entries at $10 each. Maximum entry is four (4) per artist.
• Entry fees are non-refundable and must be paid by the entry deadline.
• Deadline Sunday, October 16, 2016.
• Results will be emailed by October 30, 2016.
Delivery of accepted entries:
• Entries will be submitted with artist name, title, medium, size and price on the back of the artwork – upper right corner (using the forms included).
• Wednesday, November 2nd, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM to: Studio 2817, Anthony Salvo Fine Art, 2817 Newport Boulevard, Newport Beach, California 92660 (949) 723-0790.
• Although the utmost care will be taken handling artwork, neither SoCalPapa or Anthony Salvo Fine Art Gallery nor its representatives will be responsible for damage or loss from any cause. Insurance, if desired, is the responsibility of the artist.
Sales:
• All work submitted must be available for sale. All sales handled by the Salvo Design Group: 25% commission to Gallery, 75% to artist. Credit card fees to be paid by artist.
Advertising:
• Advertising coordinated by Susan Bailou (susanbailou@att.net). Ads will be in The Daily Pilot for the Exhibit. Budget of $1000 for advertising.
Awards:
• First Place: $300
• Second Place: $200
• Third Place: $100
• Three Honorable Mentions at $50 each.
