ENTERING YOUR IMAGES:
You can enter your images online at www.OnlineJuriedShows.com.

Entry form must be filled out in its entirety.  List sizes up to the nearest inch.  Submitted images must not include matting or frame.  Crop the photos to include only the artwork.  Be sure your images are right-side-up.

For best results, make sure your images are at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi (but no larger than 4MB).  Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space.  Help in photographing your work and properly sizing your images can be found at:

ELIGIBILITY:
All artists must be 18 years of age or older and be a resident of Washington State.

Entries must be original, entirely the work of the entrant and executed within the last three years (since 1/1/13) and without the supervision of an instructor. Copies of existing artworks not eligible.

Please put the year your piece was created at the end of the title of each piece in the entry form.


FEES AND COMMISSION:
$45.00 - LIMIT 3 ART WORKS.  Preferred entry method: online through www.OnlineJuriedShows.com.  CV Gallery will retain a 33% commission on all sales.

Mail in method: For an additional fee of $15 those not wishing to use the online system may enter by mailing jpeg images on a CD to: The CVG Show, 331 Pacific Avenue, Bremerton, WA 98337

$20 Gallery Handling Fee for Shipped Art work only.

$25 Late Pickup Charge for Art Work not picked up on scheduled day above.

EXHIBITION DETAILS:

Bremerton is very proud of its annual art exhibition.  Opening Ceremony and reception takes place at the historic and elegant Admiral Theater for the Saturday reception, buffet dinner and juror lectures.  Live music is played while artists have an opportunity to mingle with other artists.  Immediately after the reception, attendees walk to the CV Gallery, one block away, for dessert, no host bar and a closer inspection of the art work.

JURORS:

Categories Two-Dimensional Art and Three-Dimensional Art
NED MUELLER is a very accomplished and highly respected artist, having been drawing and painting for over 60 years. He is a graduate of the prestigious Art Center School of Design in Los Angeles whereas still a student he also taught drawing classes. He has participated in many of the major invitational shows in the country, including the "Artists of America Show," "Great American Artist's Show," "Prix de West Show," "Oil Painters of America," "Laguna Plein Air Show," "Pastel Society of America," "The Autry Western Masters Show," "The Northwest Rendezvous Show," and the annual "Plein Air Painters of America Exhibition.”

JOHNNY WALKER is an independent photo-journalist, commercial photographer and owner of AC Frame & Fine Arts in Kingston, WA. Johnny advocates for visual literacy interlaced with storytelling, emphasizing geographic and historical context to artworks in ways that promote lasting relevance. After many years in global business, public service, retail entrepreneurship, and community involvement, he passionately promotes the value of small communities and neighborhoods.

CONDITIONS:
•    A maximum of 3 entries per artist.
•    Artists may enter more than one category.
•    2D work may not exceed 8 feet in its longest dimension nor weigh more than 75 lbs.
•    2D work on paper must be under glass or Plexiglas, shipped work must use Plexiglas.
•    3 views of 3D work are permitted.
•    3D work must fit within a 4 x 4 x 9 foot space and weigh less than 400 lbs.
•    Art weighing more than 50 lbs or requiring complex assembly must be installed by the artist or agreed to by the Exhibition Chair.
•    All work must be gallery-ready with appropriate framing, hanging wires, and the like.
•    Artists may not substitute for an accepted work, alter a work, change the sales price, or withdraw a work after it has been accepted.
•    All work must be for sale.
•    Work may not constitute a safety hazard or fall apart easily.
•    CVG reserves the right to refuse any entry which does not meet this criteria.

NOTIFICATION AND DELIVERY:
Official notification will be via an e-mail letter and from www.OnlineJuriedShows.com.  Be sure to add Manager@OnlineJuriedShows.com to your contacts.

Art work can be hand delivered or shipped. Shipping Instructions will be in the notification e-mail letter. The artist entrant will be responsible for shipping charges in both directions. Every precaution will be taken to handle artworks with the utmost care, however, neither Collective Visions Gallery nor the co-sponsors of the exhibition will be responsible for damage or loss from any cause.
Note:  Shipped artwork must be accompanied by prepaid return shipping label.

LODGING:
The Fairfield Inn/Mariott is located only one block away from the gallery and two blocks away from the Admiral Theater.  They have reduced their room rate to $99 for CVG Show artists and their guests.  Bremerton is in the middle of a condo/housing/building trend.  Because there is a growing downtown resident population, it’s a relaxed place to walk around whether one is going to dinner or to the 10 screen movie theater 2 blocks away or the waterfront park about 3 blocks away.  To get Fairfield Inn reservations, call 360-377-2111.

PHOTOGRAPHY:
Collective Visions Gallery reserves the right to photograph entries for purposes of publicity, documentation, education, and promotion.

LIABILITY:
Artists should insure their own work for loss or damage.  Art works will be insured for liability while at Collective Visions Gallery, however, the construction and design of the work must not present a hazard to the public or gallery staff.

LEGAL AGREEMENT:

All artists must be 18 years of age or older and reside in Washington State.  Submission of entry constitutes an agreement on the part of the artist to comply with all of the conditions and terms contained in this prospectus.  All decisions of the Exhibition Chair are final.

REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GRANTED TO APPLICANTS WHO ARE NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH THIS AGREEMENT.
