ABOUT THE ONLINE SHOW
This show is offered to help promote the work of oil painters in the Emerging Artist Program at The Collymore Oil Painters Atelier, founded by modern French Impressionist artist and passionate instructor Valerie Collymore. It is open to currently registered long-term members of The Collymore Oil Painters Atelier, in good standing in the Level 4 Emerging Artist Program. The accepted works will be exhibited at The Pacific Art League of Palo Alto, CA from October 7 through October 26, 2022.
The Emerging Artist Program at The Collymore Oil Painters Atelier is dedicated to helping each member artist achieve their personal best collection of oil paintings and providing support and guidance as artists begin the steps to launch their art career. If you are not yet a member of The Collymore Oil Painters Atelier, we invite you to explore membership in our unique and happy atelier program..
ELIGIBILITY
Open to selected members of The Emerging Artist Program at The Collymore Oil Painters Atelier.
Pieces can be representational or non-objective/abstract works in 2D.
Applicants must be currently registered long-term members in good standing of The Collymore Oil Painters Atelier, in the Level 4 Emerging Artist Program.

ENTRY RULES
1. The 2022 Emerging Artists from The Collymore Oil Painters Atelier Exhibit is open to Level 4 Emerging Artists at The Collymore Oil Painters Atelier, who have been preparing their personal best collection of oil paintings, with new works painted within the past 3 years.
2. Entries may be representational or abstract work oil paintings.
3. Work(s) must be original. 2D works must have been completed within the last three years. Works must be for sale.
4. Applications may be submitted from May 2, 2022 through August 1, 2022 with the cut off being midnight PST on August 1. Acceptance of works will be announced on Friday, August 12,2022.
5. There are size restrictions for paintings submitted: please work directly with Valerie Collymore if you are considering works larger than 30x40.
6. All work(s) entered must be new original works, in oils, not shown in other shows.
7. Maximum entries: eight (8)
8. Accepted artworks will be announced on August 12.
9. By submitting images to this juried opportunity, you understand and agree that accepted images may be displayed on the Pacific Art League’s website, on www.ValerieCollymore.com, Facebook page, and other social and/or print media. Artists retain copyright to their image(s).
10. By entering this exhibition, you agree that you have read and will abide by all rules outlined in this prospectus.
11. All jury fees are non-refundable.
APPLICATION
The Emerging Artists of The Collymore Oil Painters Atelier Exhibit process will begin May 2 and close on August 1, 2022. Finalists will be announced no later than Friday, August 12, 2022. Entry form must be filled out in its entirety. List sizes up to the nearest inch. Submitted images must not include matting or frame. Crop the photos to include only the artwork. Be sure your images are right-side-up.
Before uploading your images, make sure they are 72 dpi and a maximum size of 1920 pixels on the longest side, and no smaller than 800 pixels on the longest side. Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space, and less than 4 mb.
