PROSPECTUS FOR FRONT PORCH GALLERY JURIED EXHIBIT 2022
Front Porch Gallery, a non-profit gallery in Carlsbad CA will be holding its annual juried exhibition and invites artists to participate. This is an open exhibit with no specific theme. We are looking for all expressions across mediums.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists 18 years of age and older living or working on the USA
EXHIBITION DATES: July 17 – September 3, 2022
OPENING RECEPTION: Live music and hors d’oeuvres: July 17, 2022 noon-2pm
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: May 30, 2022, 11:59 pm
AWARDS: 1st: $500 2nd: $250, 3rd: $100, $35 for each 3 Honorable Mentions
JUROR: Donna Watson
Donna Watson is a mixed media painter and collage artist for 40 years. Her works have been accepted into numerous juried national and international exhibitions and she has received many awards. Donna is president emeritus of the National Watercolor Society and the Northwest Watercolor Society. She has signature memberships in the American and National Watercolor Society. Donna has extensive experience as a juror and workshop instructor all over the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Her works have been widely published in art magazines like American Artist and The Artist’s Magazine. Her works have also been published in books including MASTERS COLLAGE: Major Works by Leading Artists (Lark) and THE PULSE OF MIXED MEDIA by Seth Apter (Northight Books). Her works have also been published in 100 ARTISTS OF THE NORTHWEST (Schiffer) and STORYTELLING WITH COLLAGE by Roxanne Evans Stout. Most recently, her paintings have been included in the book COLD WAX MEDIUM by Rebecca Crowell and Jerry McLaughlin…and FRAGMENTATION AND REPAIR by Shelley Rhodes. Her works can be found in the Lynn Hanson Gallery (Seattle, WA) and the Maztke Fine Art Gallery (Camino Island, WA).

SUBMISSION PROCESS:
All entries will be submitted electronically at www.OnlineJuriedShows.com.
Entry form must be filled out in it’s entirety.
List sizes up to the nearest inch including frame. If framed, must include overall frame size.
Submitted images must not include matting or frame
Crop the photos to include only the artwork.
Be sure your images are right-side up.
Before uploading images, make sure they are smaller than 4 MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi.
Images should be in JPG format, RGB color space.

ENTRY FEE AND PAYMENT:
$35 for 3 entries. Entry fees are non-refundable, must be paid by the entry deadline. Acceptance is not guaranteed. After you’ve submitted, continue to check out, pay through PayPal or with a credit card, and receive your receipt.
EXHIBITION GUIDELINES: All 2D and 3D media considered. Artwork must have been created within the past 3 years. Artwork must be original and not previously exhibited at Front Porch Gallery.
Artwork must be ready to hand with proper hanging device.
Artwork must be for sale. Gallery retains 40% commission on sales.
Size of work limited to 70” on the length size, 72” on the height side – including frame. Weight limit is 70 pounds.
For this exhibition we are looking for artwork that includes all themes of expression, suitable for the general public.
Artwork must be labeled on the back with the artist’s name, title, medium, size, and price.
Artwork must remain in the gallery for the entire exhibition, unless sold.
Accepted artists must complete the Consignment Agreement.
Commissions are paid within 3 days of sale.
A W-9 is required for payment.
Entering this juried exhibition acknowledges the right of Front Porch Gallery to use your image(s) for publicity purposes for this event.

SELECTION NOTIFICATIONS: Results will be available by June 10, 2022 at www.OnlineJuriedShows.com in your Artist Profile. Artists will be notified once the results are ready via email.
SHIPPED ART DELIVERY: To be received by July 6, 2022*
HAND-DELIVERED DATES: Wednesday, July 6 – Sunday July 10: 11 am – 5 pm
SHIPPED ARTWORK RETURN: By September 10, 2022
ARTWORK PICKUP: Sunday September 4 (Preferred date) 11 am – 5 pm
Wednesday Sept. 7 – Saturday Sept. 10 11 am – 5 pm
