NESA’s Online Exhibition —The Equinox Springing Into The Light
THEME
NESA’s call is to any sculptor responding to issues of 2020 that have been reawakened. Artists create to shine their light on these darknesses.
ELIGIBILITY
NESA’s exhibition is an open call to NESA members and non-members.

Works’ will be judged in part on their relevance to the show’s theme and title.
Any sculptor over 18 years old
ENTRY PROCEDURE
You can enter your images online at www.OnlineJuriedShows.com.
Help in photographing your work and properly sizing your images can be found at:
www.OnlineJuriedShows.com/help.aspx. For best results, make sure your image is 72 dpi and 1920 pixels on the longest side. Images should be in JPEG format or sRGB color space.

Your images need to include a description of you work. The description of your work needs to be a narrative about WHY you are submitting that piece and WHAT it means to the subject asked about.
ENTRY FEE
$20 for up to 3 entries for NESA members
$45 for up to 3 entries for non-members
Sales Commissions:
10% commission to NESA for NESA members
30% commission to NESA for non-members
Awards:
There will be 4 awards of $250 each. Three of which will be awarded by the juror, and one will be The People’s Choice Award.
EXHIBITION CALENDAR
Jan. 12th Call opened
Feb. 8th Submission Deadline (by end of day)
Feb. 15th Notification email to the artists
Mar. 19th Online Opening Reception – 3 juried award winners announced.
Apr. 22nd Online presentations/commentaries by the 3 juried award winners.
Jun. 3rd Online Closing event – presentation of the People’s Choice Award.
JUROR
Brian Hones, Manager, Studio Projects, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
Prior to joining the Gardner in 2015, he worked with the Taft Museum of Art in Cincinnati, Ohio. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and a Bachelor of Science in art education from Miami University (Ohio), as well as a Master of Liberal Arts in museum studies from Harvard University (MA). In September 2020, he was appointed as a Commissioner to the Boston Art Commission which maintains the city’s art collection and commissions new, transformative public art that inspires Boston residents to live up to their fullest potential.

As this is an online show, there is no size restriction on work(s) submitted.
