He joined the Art Department at California Lutheran University full-time in 2005 and resides in Thousand Oaks, California.
His love for the ancient landscapes of his previous homes in Wiltshire and Devon, England, has never left him and has powerfully influenced his work. He is author of Art in the Age of Emergence, a remarkable book about the aesthetics of representational art in the emergent age.
He's also an accomplished oil painter, installation designer, and award-winning theatrical scenic designer and says teaching painting and drawing to CLU students is the most rewarding job of his life.
