2018 Signature Members Show

This is an exhibition for current Northwest Pastel Society Signature members only.
Entry fee is $35 for up to 3 images. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be paid by the entry deadline. 100 NPS Signature paintings are expected to hang in the Schack Art Center gallery during the annual holiday exhibit.
This is a non-juried show. NPS signature members, who enter, will have at least one and up to 3 paintings accepted into the show.
Awards: Frist, second, third place awards.
Submission of entries
Enter digital images online at www.OnlineJuriedShows.com. Signature member artists may submit up to 3 paintings for this exhibition.
• Images should be 72 dpi, 1920 pixels on the longest side of the image. List sizes to the nearest inch.

No size limitations. All work must be framed and ready to hang with strong tight wire
and flat metal D ring type hangers. Work should arrive at the gallery in good condition, with no pastel dust on the mat or glass.
Sales
All work must be for sale and realistically priced. A 40% commission will be taken by the Schack Art Center. The Schack Art Center will pay the artist within 30 days of the close of show. Sold work will continue to hang until the end of the show on Saturday, December 29, 2018.
Eligible work
Artists must be current signature members of the Northwest Pastel Society. All work must be original in concept and executed by the artist in the pastel medium within the last two years. Work exhibited in previous NPS exhibits is not eligible. No instructor assisted (hands-on) work is eligible. Mixed media pieces must be 85% predominately pure pigment (soft) pastel.
Delivery of work
Works may be hand carried to the gallery or shipped. Work must be hand delivered to the Schack Art Center on Monday, November 5 from 10am – 5:30pm. Work shipped through Phoenix, the shipping agent, must be received by Monday, October 29. Participants will be sent all necessary information via email, including a copy of the shipping agent’s instructions, fees (including returned shipping fees), and specifications. Liability
• All reasonable care will be taken with paintings and submissions. NPS, its officers, volunteers, and the Schack Art Center shall not be held responsible for the loss and damage to paintings, frames, or digital entries.
• NPS suggests that participants carry separate insurance.
• The artist grants permission to reproduce work for publicity purposes, both in print and digital galleries. Copyright will be attributed to the artist. Entry into this exhibition constitutes agreement with all conditions set forth in this prospectus and Entry Form, and is your commitment to participate.
Your entry form is a legal and binding contract to deliver artwork that has been juried into the show. If, after being juried in, an entrant chooses not to deliver artwork, he or she may not enter an NPS show for a period of two years.
Deadline for entry: September 30, 2018 with notification of accepted work by October 5, 2018.
