Exhibition Details                                                  

Artists are invited to submit to Natural Homes: Nest, Burrows, Caves & Trees, a national juried exhibition, at View arts center in Old Forge, NY. The exhibition is open to artists, age 18 and up, working in all media (artists working in sound, video, or film must provide their own equipment).

View is a premier multi-arts facility located in the Central Adirondacks of New York State. www.viewarts.org

Juror of Selection and Awards                                  

Jean Stephens   

A Rochester, New York native, Jean Stephens received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Masters in Art Education from Rochester Institute of Technology. Stephens desire for additional training has led to study with Carol Marine, John Whalley and the late Thomas Buechner. Stephen’s paintings have been selected for national juried exhibitions, and are included in private and corporate collections.

Eligibilty                                                

·        All entries must be of original design and personal execution created within the past 2 years.

·        Artwork previously shown at View is not eligible.

Fees                                                     

A non-refundable entry fee of $30/ $25 for members of View enables the artist to submit up to 2 works. Each artist may submit a total of 5 works at a cost of an additional $10 per image.   Payment should be made at www.OnlineJuriedShows.com. Entry fees must be paid by the entry deadline.

Legal                                                  

-      All works must be of original design and copyright of the artist.

-      View reserves the right to utilize all images submitted to Natural Homes in promotion of the exhibition and for the general promotion of View.

-      View may rescind the right of hanging any work unsuitably presented or misrepresented.

Selected Works                                                 

·        Selection notification will be sent by October 1, 2018

·        Selected paintings must be received at View no later than October 19, 2018

·        View will retain a 35% Commission on all works sold.

·        Selected artwork must be suitably framed and ready for installation

·        All shipping is at the expense of the artist. You must include a prepaid shipping label for the return of the work.

·         Work to be received at View by: October 19, 2018

·         Reception: November 30, 2018 5-7pm

·         Exhibition Closes: March 10, 2019

Entering your Images                                           

• You can enter your images online at www.OnlineJuriedShows.com
• Entry form must be filled out in its entirety. 
• List sizes up to the nearest inch. 
• Submitted images must not include matting or frame. 
• Crop the photos to include only the artwork. 
• Be sure your images are right-side-up.
• Before uploading your images, make sure they are smaller than 4MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi. 
• Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space.
