JUROR OF SELECTION AND AWARDS
Jen Evenhus
Jen is naturally drawn to designs and movement found in nature and everyday experiences, capturing their essence with simplification and exaggeration in contemporary impressionist and abstract paintings. Her work is known for its dynamic composition, bold use of color, negative painting and confident application. Jennifer is a Master Pastelist in the PSA, a Distinguished Pastelist in the NPS, an IAPS-Master Circle Member, and a Signature Member of PSWC. Her work has been published in magazines such as the Pastel Journal, American Artist, PSA Pastelagram and Pratique des Arts, a French magazine.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• This Exhibition is open to all artists over the age of 18 working in the soft pastel medium.
• 80% of the exposed surface must be dry pastel. No oil pastels.
• There is no size limitation.
• Must be entirely the work of the artist and not copied from other artists’ work, photos or publications.
• Must not have been created under supervision (as in a workshop or class).
• Must have been completed within the last 5 years.
• May not be glazed works with a finished surface of matte acrylic, resin, or solvent varnish.
• If the work is not for sale, check “NFS” on the entry form.
• Online entry using Online Juried Shows
• Go to www.onlinejuriedshows.com and sign in or register a user account.
• Up to 6 images may be submitted --up to 2 paintings may be accepted to show per artist.
• No file-naming restrictions. Juror will not see the file name.
• JPEGs must not show mat, frame, etc., and must be an accurate representation of the artwork.

ENTRY FEES

MEMBER PRICING: $30 for up to three images for members of the Pastel Society of North Carolina. [please make certain that your memberships dues are up to date], $10 each for additional entries for a total of six entries allowed per artist.

NON MEMBER PRICING: $40 for up to three images for non-members. $10 each for additional entry for a total of six entries allowed per artist.

ENTRY PROCESS
• Entry form must be filled out in its entirety. List sizes up to the nearest inch. Submitted images must not include matting or frame. Crop the photos to include only the artwork. Be sure your images are right-side-up.
• Before uploading your images, make sure they are smaller than 4MB, but at least 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi. Images should be in JPEG format, RGB color space. Help in photographing your work and properly sizing your images can be found on the help page. If you need help entering your images or are unable to do so, please email Help@OnlineJuriedShows.com or call 949-287-8645.

PAYMENT
The ENTRY FEE is paid via PayPal/Credit card to On Line Juried Shows upon submission. No checks accepted. All entry fees are nonrefundable and must be paid by the entry deadline.

SALES
• Prices may not be changed after submission is completed and after due date.
• The artist’s email will be listed with each accepted entry and the artist will be entirely responsible for any sales.
• No commissions will be charged.

As a condition of entry to the Pure Color Online International Exhibition, the submitting artist agrees to the terms and conditions stated herein including granting permission to the Pastel Society of North Carolina and Online Juried Shows to reproduce the accepted paintings on their web sites, and for advertising and promotional purposes only. No images will be used or published for any other use than by the listed organizations.
